4 Common Misconceptions About Vaping

Despite the best quality vapes that are produced and sold by the New York Vaping Shop and other local and national purchasers offer their customers, and despite the growing numbers of users who are claiming positive effects of vaping, there are still wrong things that are thrown against vaping and its users. Although it is good to be highly skeptical in using equipment like this or being critical about everything, it is also equally important to seek the truths about these issues and misconceptions. So, in this article, we will provide you the common misconceptions about vaping for greater awareness about these products.

1.All vaporizers are never the same

There are different types of vaporizers and each has its own distinct characteristics. The following are the three types of vaporizers:

  • Vape Pens – this type is considered to be the mid-sized one. They are less complex and more expensive than analog lookalikes.
  • Analog Lookalikes – this is similar to the traditional cigarettes and is considered to be the simplest, smallest, and least expensive device compared to the other types.
  • Vape Mods – this is the most complex among the three and is typically used by the pros. Their complexity is parred with great customization offered to the users. Compared to the other two, the vape mods are the most expensive.

2.Smoking and vaping are equally unhealthy

While it is true that both traditional cigarettes and vaping may cause some unhealthy effects on your body and brain, the claim that they are EQUALLY unhealthy is a false statement. According to much research is done, the traditional cigarette contains more than 7,000 chemicals and many of which are toxic and harmful to the body. On the side, vapers and its juices do have lesser chemical content and only some of these chemicals are toxic.

However, both of them can be very dangerous when abused.

  1. Nicotine causes cancer

While it is a fact that nicotine (which is found on both traditional and e-cigarettes) is highly addictive and a potential toxin to the body, nicotine is not a carcinogen. This means that nicotine is not proven to cause cancer.

4.No one knows the ingredients of e-juices

Well, this is a false statement again. The fact is that e-juices contain only four active ingredients and all of these are all put on the package label. The thing is it also depends on where you purchase your e-juices. If you purchase your juice from a cheaper and unreliable store, there are chances that they do not put the ingredients and they may contain some impurities. However, when you invest in premium quality e-juices from trusted stores, you will have these ingredients (which are put on the package):

  • Nicotine
  • Vegetable Glycerin
  • Propylene Glycol
  • Natural or artificial flavors

Final Thoughts

The above-mentioned are the four common misconceptions about vaping and its effects on the ones who use it. Again, vaping, similar to traditional smoking, has its pros and cons, and it is important to take with moderation to avoid the negative consequences it has.
